Wine TimeWine Time Episode Six: BV Coastal Estates MerlotMarissa A. Ross

Wine Time is a weekly review on cheap wine with HG blogger, Marissa A. Ross. And by cheap we mean, under ten dollars, so, yeah, cheap. This week’s review features BV Coastal Estates Merlot. Special thanks to Ben Blascoe for renting a killer cabin for Fourth of July, and all her friends for putting up with her. Sincere apologies for the mad, all natural, lake backtrack. Featuring “Surf Erie” by Monster Rally.

you are the bomb. I think cab is great and merlot depends on the merlot. I’m all about pinot grigio and sauvignon blanc. my fav red is malbec, and I just had a great one within said budget, Tilia! it was like, $7! cant wait for your next vid

♥ the wine reviews – these are fab…especially the Ross Test. Will you be expanding to the Moscato d’Asti region?

i’ve never been much of a red girl, but cause of that whole “health” thing i’ve decided to try to acquire a taste for them over reds. i hear to start with cabs but i don’t know. i got the menage a trois the other day and that’s a blend of cab, merlot and zinfendel, ad it was alright, but i want to LOVE red wine, like be able to drink it without a chaser. help!

also you should totally review the menage a trois’, they come in red and white and are ~$9 on sale.

I LOVE cabs to death! Honestly, the way to love wine is to keep drinking it. It’s an acquired taste. My favorite cabernet under $10, is the Bandit Cab (which comes in a box, don’t let it scare you, it’s delicious).

i used to be only cab girl but i noticed that i feel like sleepy if i stick with merlots. cabs are for relaxin. merlots are for getting f’d and being f’d.

having just been carried away by the force of this critic’s persona…totally taken back by her openness to flip between sip and guzzle and seemingly not bothered by a winestash….cancelling scrip to wine spectator. I’m a “great
finish” kind of guy…leave me in a “sweet” way

I’m so glad you enjoyed this after I talked your ear off! & yeah, screw wine spectator! You’ve got CAW club! (Hopefully I got that abbreviation right!)
