  3. Locating the village barn may not have been a challenge for my German removal firm, but carting my awkwardly shaped belongings in the narrow staircase within the barn certainly was! For very long term storage it is important to occupy as little space as you possibly can by stacking items upwards and to keep belonging safe and dry. Next time I shall certainly invest in green, recyclable boxes when moving house again.

  14. I asked my hub to pick up some very cheap wine tonight and he came home with Quail Oak Cab!! It passed my test too … which is very similar to the Ross Test.

  15. It was everything I look for in a wine review. lol “…a six pack of Quail Oak…” I have a suggestion, if you can get your hands on it. Check out Morgan Creek Vineyard’s website. I believe you can order online and have it shipped to you, but I dunno for sure. I can just drive there :) They’re a local winery here in Alabama and they specialize in muscadine wine. Prices were something like $10-20. It’s been years but I remember the Carlos, Blush, and Red Mountain Red being good. I’m sure at least one would pass the Ross test.

  16. This girl is INCREDIBLY funny.

  17. You are too Cute :) Thank you for the wine tip, it’s good to know I’m not the only cheap wine connoisseur!

  18. I can relate to this. So much. I love drinking wine but also know nothing about them. It’s a pretty great hobby so I’m looking forward to upcoming episodes! Oh and I have a suggestion for you for a great one to drink out straight from the bottle. In fact, I daresay you may want to consider getting two. It’s Barefoot’s Moscato. From California and deliciously sweet. Drink up and have a giggle!

    • Barefoot Moscato was my “beginner wine,” its how I started to get into drinking wine on the reg. Great if you like very sweet, juicy wines. If you like your wine more… winey, but still sweet, try Houge Late Harvest Riesling. It runs about $7 to $10 per bottle.

    • Oh, I’ll have to give it a whirl! I will say I’m not a huge fan of their Cab surprisingly but I’ll take your ladies’ word for it & add this to the list! xo Mariss

    • I agree. Moscato is perfect straight out of the bottle on a hot afternoon.

  19. I suggest Belli Rosso! It’s about $9. It’s a sparkly, sweet, red wine perfect for the summer!
