My favorite part about Summer is all the amazing movies that come out. This Summer I am extra excited to see Seeking a Friend for the End of the World starring Steve Carell and Keria Knightley. Just watching the trailer alone I can tell this is going to be my favorite movie of the Summer. In anticipation for this movie, I have decided to make a short list of all the things I seek in a friend. Here it goes…
-Someone who loves pop culture. If you don’t have an opinion on Miley’s engagement I just don’t see where we can go from there. I don’t want to feel guilty for buying People Magazine every now and then week.
- Someone who will sing karaoke with me. No one should ever have to sing Journey alone. It’s a total downer. No matter how bad your voice is, I would like you to stand by my side as I relive my childhood dream of being an international popstar. (Also: Don’t judge my dreams.)
-Someone who is always down for movie night. I’ll even let you pick the movie! As long as you understand that movies with subtitles aren’t real movies, they are moving picture books.
-Someone who will get fro-yo with me at any/all times. Whether it’s bad dates, breakups or breakouts, fro-yo makes everything better.
-Someone who will help me move. Now, I’m not cruel, I will pay you in Chinese takeout and compliments.
-Someone who tells me the truth. Is the guy I’m dating a complete player? Does this dress make me look like I’m in my third trimester? Do I have cilantro in between my two front teeth? I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW! As a friend, I would do the same for you.
-Someone who will help me clean out my closet. This is by no means as fun of a task as the Sex and the City movie made it out to be, but you may get a few free dresses out of it!
