So next time one of your forever friend-zoned brothers beg for a little pro-tip to make the ladies like him more “in that way,” tell him to bring it on and dance it out. And even if it doesn’t win the heart he wants, whether spontaneously improvised or painstakingly rehearsed, a solid boogie down sesh at the right time can still serve as a universal pep talk to the soul, as surely as many a humble hairbrush has logged valiant hand-miles in mirrorfront therapy sessions to the strains of something too catchy to be denied. Even knowing next-to-nothing about them, Slappy and Hammertime were made immediately appealing by embracing the new day with confidence and nothing short of a contagious joy… although their apparent allergies to shirts are not something I feel qualified to diagnose without extensive further investigation.
Fans of Daler Mehndi will have seen this on his FB page, and it’s been around for at least a year, but the original is a classic, spawning a bunch of related videos with varying degrees of awww-factor, of which this is but the latest to become popular. As for the cuties in this clip, I’m still waiting to hear back on Twitter if they’re single [UPDATE: Ryker: single; Parker: taken], but according to their website, the globetrotting Fundayz Four [#3 Alexey was filming, and #4 Max was absent that day] all live right here in my hometown of Vancouver. Hot-cha-cha!
