Playlist of the WeekTrips to the BeachCorinne Caputo

I tend to get sunburned really easily so trips to the beach seem more daunting than relaxing. In fact, my senior year of high school I cut class to go to the beach and ending up getting a first degree burn on the back of my legs. Yikes! They turned purple! (Lesson learned: always wear extra sunscreen!)

Despite those bad memories, a trip to the beach goes hand in hand with summer. While I don’t totally enjoy the heat, the sand, or the freezing cold water, the beach is still great and it’s even better when you have some music to listen to.

HelloGiggles: Beach

Ben L’Oncle Soul – Seven Nation Army – Remasterisée
Just Jack – Writer’s Block

Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros – 40 Day Dream
J.J. Cale – Call me the Breeze
Devendra Banhart – Can’t Help But Smiling
Awkward I – Rock Stars

  1. Gotta have some Best Coast (true beach pop!) on there!

  2. Great playlist – shame that the UK weather is not encouraging beach going this summer!
