I used to play trumpet in high school, so let’s all imagine me tooting the horn in announcement of another addition of Three Way Fashion! Dun dun dun dunnnnnn! It was in-tune, I swear. But anyway, this column’s goal is to show you how to wear an item that you probably have in your closet multiple ways for multiple occasions. There will be three looks, many of which contain less than five individual pieces of clothing, all of which are priced below $100. Every time.
- J.Crew striped tank top, $35
Look #1: Clashing patterns is a daring dressing style, but one that shows a lot of personality; keeping the two patterns in the same color palette is the best way to do so without going over-the-top. In this case, it’s navy. I added a pair of red slip-ons to match the flowers in the skirt and keep the party going down below.
Look #2: The easiest way to wear a striped shirt is with a casual pair of pants, ankle boots and a statement necklace. Done and done. Why not take it a step further and step on the cargo pant trend train? Choo-choo! You look fierce, girlfriend.
Look #3: It’s warm, I get that, so why would you want to wear a whole lot of clothing? Duh, you don’t. Add to that striped tank by pulling on some jean cut-offs and sliding on a pair of moccasins. Leather bracelets are a great accessory for summer because they are light and won’t retain heat like metals will.
- Minnetonka moccasins, $40

Absolutely the most useful series on hello giggles!
