It is finally May! Hooray! Instead of jumping for joy that summer is around the corner, I am visibly stressed. My eyes are red, I can’t sit still, and my hands are clammy. While it may seem like I’m facing drug withdrawal symptoms, it’s really just the stress of finals week. So. Many. Papers.
Instead of having reality shows where we watch a group of twenty something live in a house together and go tanning, let’s put them in a Finals Week simulation where they must crank out intelligent and original theses and pass multiple exams in return for a letter grade. I’ll call it Real World.
Wait, sorry, apparently that title is taken.
Anyway, luckily in just a few days/weeks it will all be over and I can enjoy summer. It can get difficult focusing when you have so many tasks on your plate, so I put together this playlist because I know that music can sometimes help me focus. I hope it helps you too! (now i should get back to studying before i keep procrastinating by daydreaming about other reality shows)

I youtube-consulted all the ones I hadn’t heard before. Awesome! Thank you
I really like the gilmore girls soundtrack for studying purposes.
Based on some of your selections, you might really like The Civil Wars. They are AMAZING! Sadly, I absolutely can’t listen to music to make me focus. Even soft piano music distracts me when I’m trying to study or write a paper. Speaking of which, I still have that paper to write…
I like to listen to stuff that doesn’t have many words like Mount Kimbie, Rodrigo y Gabriela, Active Child, Beach House or Little Dragon.
Or music with lyrics in a different language, like Casiokids, so the words don’t distract me!
