Slideshows Sushi Roll Models
Eliza Hurwitz

Sushi is one of my all time favorite meals. In fact, I went out for sushi last night with my family at a restaurant that we frequent so much that the waiters and waitresses recognize us. I just think sushi is the perfect meal. It’s fun to eat, satisfying and delicious. There are so many varieties I don’t think I could ever get sick of it.

I didn’t think sushi could get any better until today when, on a whim, I decided to look up sushi art. I was speechless at the beautiful images brought to me by the web. Who knew sushi could be transformed into adorable panda bears or an equally adorable Barack Obama? To honor those brilliant minds that created these masterpieces, I’ve decided to display some of these innovative and unique sushi rolls.

  1. Making sushi is a lot of fun but it takes practice. I recommend trying it out

  2. Some of those aren’t actually sushi (like numbers 2, 4, and 6) but bento boxes. They’re another interesting form of Japanese food art.
