Car Microwave: I often have way more time in my car than I would like. I have a cooler that I plug into the cigarette lighter in my car. It’s amazing but what I really want is a portable microwave. Who wouldn’t want to pop a bag of microwave kettle corn while waiting for a red light to change? Who wouldn’t want to heat up a cup of coffee or make a tiny little casserole whilst idling curbside? This would be a huge seller in the sky mall catalogue, or if you’re thinking really big (and I am, people) on QVC. I want my popcorn, and I want it in my car. I am surprised no one has made this yet actually. Popcorn is great car food.
Hi! I have a Sharp Half Pint. 1. It’s adorable! 2. It’s amazing!! I bought it off Amazon because I wanted a small microwave I could store in my pantry instead of the huge space waster above my stove. Mine just plugs in to a regular outlet, but I know you can buy a car converter kit. I think a lot of truck drivers buy these or RV drivers. Enjoy!

Not exactly 12-volts, but it’s so dang portable. It even has its own carrying handle. Curl up and watch a movie on your laptop without even having to get up and pop some corn.

I just want my car to be full of popcorn at all times…specifically popcorn from a Laemmle theater. They have the most delicious popcorn.
Not to be a downer, because that would be TOTES fabulous… But i think the reason they don’t have them is because of thier fire risk. I mean.. You catch something on fire in you car and you don’t really have anywhere to go, ya know? You’re gonna have to figure out how to make it non-flamable. : ) (Helpful criticism!)

Why stop at a microwave?? Why not have a whole entire kitchen in your car?? I think that’d be awesome, to just have a portable little kitchen that you can plug in to your cigarette lighter in your car. I think people from L.A. would buy the most car inventions because we spend so much time in our cars, crawling along slowly on the freeway with literally, millions of other people. I like that idea, a whole portable car kitchen. And it starts with a microwave!
