Just like any girl growing up in the ’90s, I loved The Spice Girls. My sisters and I would pretend to be them, wearing similar outfits and copying their dance moves. I was always Sporty Spice, since I was a tomboy and the most athletic. For my 9th birthday, my sisters and I had a Spice Girls themed party and we went to see Spice World in theaters. It was pretty awesome.

So, in order to relive these glory days of my youth and allow you all to reminisce about one of the greatest girl groups of all time, I’ve gathered some of their best outfits. We all know they had a killer wardrobe and such different and unique styles. Through fashion, the Spice Girls demonstrated the importance of taking risks as well as being unafraid to be yourself.

I ditched school in tenth grade to go see Spice World. Or maybe we had the day off. It should’ve been a holiday.

I had a pair of platform sneakers, which I rocked at school. I thought they were the best, and they were a great deal at $5 from the clearance bin! Unfortunately, my mom said they looked like “Frankenstein shoes,” and one day they disappeared. I suspected foul play. I would still wear them if I had them!
