‘Sin City: A Dame to Kill For' Is a Sequel You Won't Want to MissChrissa Hardy

Ever since the mind blowing, visually magnificent release of Sin City in 2005, I’ve been thirsting for a sequel. All of the different plots weaving in and out and the brilliant pops of color when you’d least expect it…..man, that movie was rad. And FINALLY, we have a glimpse of what’s to come in the Sin City franchise.

The teaser trailer for Sin City: A Dame to Kill For has just been released and it looks BEYOND BAD-ASS. Returning cast members will include Jessica Alba, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Powers Boothe, Mickey Rourke, and Bruce Willis. Newbies include Eva Green, Josh Brolin, Jamie Chung, Dennis Haysbert, Marton Csokas, Julia Garner, Juno Temple, Ray Liotta, Stacy Keach, Christopher Meloni, Lady Gaga, Jeremy Piven, Crystal McCahill and (saved the best for last) Joseph Gordon-Levitt!

The film is based on the second book of the Sin City series by Frank Miller (who is also attached as screenplay writer and director), and will feature a smaller plot from a short story from book five of the comic book series (“Just Another Saturday Night” from  Booze, Broads & Bullets).

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For hits theaters on August 22nd. You in?
