Re-launching The Meaning Of "Girl Power" OnlineMarianna Tabares

Before the Spice Girls took the term “Girl Power” and ran it through a fluorescent ringer, Hillary Carlip started GirlPower.com and has been providing fun content that appeals to ladies who love to read blogs, embark on “Do It Yourself” adventures, and many other fun areas of entertainment.

GirlPower.com has recently relaunched with all-new content that updates twice a week. Currently there are six categories:

  • Videos
  • Entertainment
  • Fashion
  • Blogs & Sites
  • Be Crafty
  • Power Girls

Hillary is demonstrating Girl Power of her own on a daily basis, as she is the author of several books such as the popular Girl Power: Young Women Speak Out (Warner Books, 1995).  For this book, she was honored by the New York Public Library, making the “Best Books for Teens” list.  It’s become Required Reading for many Women’s Studies courses.

Swing on by to GirlPower.com and check out what’s new.

  1. Nicely done my friend

  2. First of all I would like to say fantastic blog! I had a quick question which I’d like to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your head prior to writing. I have had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my thoughts out. I truly do take pleasure in writing but it just seems like the first 10 to 15 minutes are usually lost just trying to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or hints? Thanks!
