Giggles and Glue Guns
Pretty, Crafty, Spooky, Busty Pumpkins
by Mr. Kate

Need some last minute Halloween inspiration? Let’s face it, most of us are last-minute-mavens…right!? So here are some more no-carve pumpkin ideas – check out my no-carve pumpkin video for more ideas here!
- Melted Crayons:
With the popularity of the melted crayon art, here are some melted crayon pumpkins by Jenny May Meyers. Use a blow dryer or lighter to melt the crayon wax onto your pumpkin.
- Ribbon:
Use ribbon and a glue gun to achieve the look
- Lace:
A nice sheer lace with a hole for the stem and hot-glued to the base will give you this fancy look.
- Paper and Paint:
Decoupage floral paper onto your pumpkin (use the technique seen in this video) and use a stencil and acrylic paint to get the patterned look.
- Twine:
Use a ball of twine and make it look like a pumpkin with a stem and some Autumn leaves.
- Paint and Bows:
Paint two witches legs on two different pumpkins using acrylic paint and glue real bows on her shoes for the finishing touch.
- T&A:
Going for something a little more risque this Fall? Make scarecrows and then give them some extra curves with a few pumpkins!

i love all of these!!
These are gorgeous, and I’m finally going to make good use of all our old, broken crayons tonight! Thanks!
How fun! I never would have thought of using crayons…
Melted crayon art! Ooh, the memories that brings. Thank you so much for this. I now know what I’ll be doing for my long weekend.
the lace one is actually from lace stockings. the stretch of the tights makes it much easier to work with than lace fabric. and you can find them at almost any store!
