Just because you have a small studio doesn't mean you can't use Pinterest to help make your space look good on a budget. I've been slowly tackling decorating my loft on a VERY tight budget, and have found Pinterest to be a constant source of inspiration.

Also - I have a terrible memory, and Pinterest helps me to catalog and organize recipes, DIY projects, and decor ideas visually online in ways "bookmarking" never could.

I see where you're coming from, but I disagree. Maybe you just need to be a little more realistic with your pinning! Pinterest didn't lie to me - it has helped make my shabby space feel a little more like home.

Amen!
Though I would defend Pinterest on the grounds that it is more of an "Inspiration board". If I go through my year working towards and only accomplishing one of my million pins - I would count that as something I wouldn't have otherwise accomplished without being inspired.
So yes, my life will remain mostly unlike that of my dream world, but dreams are what drive us!

I totally understand your point. I knew about Pinterest's existence, but could not really bother to try it. It seemed pointless to me. Then a friend of mine was quite into it, so I decided to finally give it a try..And I did. However after a while, the reality call appeared and I just could not going on pinting unreal stuff with no particular aim (except for being pretty!) so I gave it up for good.
