Thank you so much, these were taken at the beginning of my nail-art obsession, I paint my nails everyday now and I am thinking of starting a blog about it. I will definitely let ya’ll know about it. I recently got introduced to the Konad art stamping kit and recommend it to everyone! I’m so honored to be chosen for nails of the day. If anyone has a nail art idea and wants to see it executed I’d be happy to try anything, can’t have the same nails twice! <3

    • Brittany Woodell

Yes! Start a blog – with tutorials, too. These are all awesome.

  • Megan M

Wow these are so cool! I have to ask if these are all hand done and what you use to do them?

Also You should definately start a blog! These are super cute! Can you magic up some harry potter ones?

I hand painted all the designs you see here, I am ambidextrous so it’s easier than it may be for most people.

    For the marble nails;
    you will need
-a cup of room temperature water, preferably a plastic cup or container that you don’t care about.
    -some toothpicks
    -some q-tips
-2 to 5 nail polish colors’
    -nail polish remover

    1. Take the cup of water and (working quickly) drip in a drop of chosen color
    2. Shake cup to spread out drop on top of water and repeat between 10 and 12 times with other colors shaking cup between each color.
    3. Take a toothpick and swirl colors together, you can even make a heart by starting at one edge of the cup and dragging the toothpick across the top through the circles.
    4. Dip nail into water and keep there for about 10 seconds.
    5. While you finger is still submerged take a q-tip and spin it to collect polish that isn’t touching your nail.
    6. Pull your finger out of the water and clean up around the edge of your nail with a remover soaked q-tip.
    Repeat for other nails

if you don’t understand a specific idea look up “water marble nails” on youtube and there are plenty of vids that show the process. It may take a few tries before you get the hand of it but the more drips of polish in the water the better results you will yield.
IF you only want 2 colors you can polish your nail with the first color and then alternate drips of clear polish and the second color in the water.
    Good luck!
