  1. i’ve seen this with matte black for the base and glossy black on the tips. so classy looking. i have to find a matte black asap.

  2. The best way i have found to do glitter tips is by creating the french manicure tip with a clear polish to give you a sticky base and then purchase actual pixie dust glitter, sprinkle that on your stil wet tip, lightly blow or tap off extra glitter. Let the base with glitter dry, use a top coat over your whole nail and you have a finished product of glitter tips without having to use a ton of gltter polish and it gives you a more even tip to nail finish. Plus, pixie dust glitter is a lot easier to get of your nails.

  3. trying this right now! first coat of “Lincoln Park After Dark is drying!! ;o)

  4. I think they look fab!

  5. These look like those “french tip” nail stickers. I can tell because the edges are slightly raised. Those are great when they work but sometimes they end up pulling off the polish underneath them and you have to start all over :/

    • It’s just glitter polish. To get that much glitter on the tips, you have to use a few layers. When I wear a solid color and my tips begin to chip after a few days, I just cover them with glitter to get a few more days out of my manicure, and the tips are always a little raised because of how much glitter polish I have to apply to get really glittery tips.

I love the look, but getting all that glitter off can be a hassle!
