So last week, I wrote about my wonderful afternoon at The Painted Nail and meeting Katie Cazorla. This week, I want to tell you a little more about the shop and why every city needs a Painted Nail.

Katie – or the Polish Playmate, as I have been calling her – enjoys life.  She loves to feel great, have a blast and there had better be some glitter included! While conceptualizing the salon, Katie began to work on ways to bring the treatments that are usually extremely expensive and reserved for the exclusive spas and salons to a reasonable price without missing out on the lush feeling or the pampering you get.

Bath Ice Cream! Mmmm

Who wouldn’t want to dip their hands or feet into a creamy dreamy mixture that smells like fresh baked goodies or your favorite ice cream? Every treatment is reasonably priced and makes you feel like it’s your birthday (go, gurrl!). When you leave TPN, you will feel like a million bucks without having to spend it!

Another reason every city needs a Painted Nail is that they love and appreciate their clients (there is an entire “Fan Collection” set of polishes that were named by fans of the salon and show).

Katie also names her polishes after women she loves and is inspired by. There is a color named after her BFF Amy, one for her mom and there is also one for her sister (which has a sister glitter polish named after Katie) and many more.
