I just did this the other day ( mixed mayo, banana, olive oil, and honey together) put it in my hair for about an hour, and now it’s super smooth! I”ll be going blonde pretty soon so I’d like to make my hair as stong as possible before I do some damage to it. It sure feels healthy!

If you have dry hair then this treatment works wonders! It does take a lot of rinsing to get the mayo out though.

I have really long naturally curly hair and I also wouldn’t recommend the mayo treatment. I had such a hard time getting it out of my hair. I had to rinse and repeat so many times because my hair looked limp and oily, that I am pretty sure that any benefit that the mayo could have given to my hair was lost.

I have tried the mayo hair mask on my daughter, as a lice treatment (yes, she got them at school…). the lice were gone but her hair was awfully oily and stringy for the next couple of days, even after washing, and washing, and washing… I would definitely not recommend the use of mayo in your hair.
