Videos Little Dragon – ‘Constant Surprises'
Jennifer Still

I first heard Little Dragon back in 2009 when Mark Ronson gave their track ‘Feather’ a spin on his Friday night East Village Radio show Authentic Sh*t. I was immediately enamoured, not only with their blend of pop and electronic instrumentation – which is a bit funky while still pretty chill – but with the uniquely stunning vocals of lead singer Yukimi Nagano.

The Gothenburg, Sweden-based band is pretty unassuming in every sense. Having built up a loyal fanbase through extensive touring and the release of two really solid albums – 2007′s self-titled Little Dragon and 2009′s Machine Dreams – they continue to impress with their solid output and are just about to release their third LP, Ritual Union, next month.

‘Constant Surprises’ is a cut from their debut and is one of my favourites. Great music for a summer day relaxing in the park or by the pool, or on a night out – your choice. Either way, Little Dragon is a group well worth checking out.
