Fear not fellow Young Money lovers, Lil Wayne is ‘alive and well.’

UPDATE – (8:30 pm) Reported by CNN: “The rapper’s independent publicist, Kia Selby, said only, “Lil Wayne is doing well.” She strongly denied reports he was in a medically induced coma, as reported by TMZ.”

Despite the tweet, there are still different theories circulating.

TMZ is stating, “Sources at the hospital tell us Wayne is still in critical condition in the ICU … but stabilizing. We’re told the prognosis is uncertain. “

This according to Mack Maine, President of Young Money Records. He tweeted on March 15 at 5:32pm:

Wayne’s adoptive father, Birdman, sent out a tweet earlier as well:

Reports surfaced last night on TMZ that Wayne was in “critical condition” and in “a medically induced coma.” However, those surrounding the rapper have taken to social media to comfort his fans, saying the story about ‘comas’ is nothing but false!

Wayne was most recently hospitalized for seizures on Tuesday and was rushed back to the hospital on Wednesday after suffering more seizures. It is rumored that doctors found codeine in the rapper’s system, most likely from his addiction to “sizzurp.” Despite the scary reports, Wayne’s team insist he is awake, alert and watching the Syracuse game!
