I may be slightly biased here, but there’s no show I’ve been looking forward to more in the past few months than The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet. Anything but your run-of-the-mill interview series, the show sees Amanda sitting down with some of the industry’s most dynamic and inspiring women to talk about everything – and I do mean everything. Amanda and her celeb guests get down to the nitty gritty about sex, career, wellness, beauty, fear and more in a refreshingly candid way, leaving you in awe with the realisation that this is not just another scripted Q&A to push a new project.

Sitting down with incredible guests ranging from Lady GaGa, Jane Fonda and Miley Cyrus to Melissa McCarthy, Portia de Rossi and Gwyneth Paltrow, Amanda is unafraid ask questions and go places that standard interviews avoid and doesn’t shy away from the uncomfortable, the embarrassing or the downright personal. Set in her own home, you get the feeling that you’re sitting down with some of your best girlfriends for a catch-up – a feat that only makes this amazing series even more watchable, ‘cos I love a good chit chat.

As if you needed more reason to watch, Amanda is a woman who truly puts her money where her mouth is and is a crusader for  her fellow females from all walks of life. To that end, she features a ‘Women on the Street’ segment in each episode, catching up with ladies around the country about what makes them tick. Luckily, she’s never asked me to be part of this or I would take up the entire broadcast. I’ve got a lot to say, guys, okay?

Tune in for the series premiere of The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet TONIGHT (Thursday), April 26 at 11pm/10pm central on Lifetime! The first episode features interviews with Zoe Saldana, Sarah Silverman, Jane Fonda and Gwyneth Paltrow – and that’s just this week! There’s certain to be much, much more to come.
