It combines everyone’s favorite dessert with a little bit of magic to satisfy your sweet tooth in the most enchanting way. Plus, who wouldn’t want to devour a bright pink and purple scoop of ice cream?

This recipe is as simple as combining vanilla extract, heavy cream, and condensed milk. Finish off with a little pixie dust (aka edible glitter) and freeze for the most mystical and mouthwatering summer treat.

DIY Pixie Ice Cream

2 cups heavy whipping cream
2 (14-oz.) cans sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
Pink gel food coloring
Purple gel food coloring
8 ice cream sugar cones
Edible silver food coloring spray
Edible glitter
Edible sparkling sprinkles or sanding sugar
Star-shaped sprinkles

1. Beat heavy cream using an electric mixer until medium peaks form. Add vanilla and sweetened condensed milk; beat until stiff peaks form. Divide mixture evenly into 2 bowls; add desired amount of pink food coloring to one bowl and desired amount of purple food coloring to remaining bowl; whisk well to incorporate color completely.
2. Using an ice cream scoop, scoop ice cream in alternating colors into an 8.5×4.5 loaf pan. Swirl colors together to create a marbled pattern using a long wooden skewer or handle of a wooden spoon. Cover and freeze 6 hours or overnight.
3. Spray sugar cones with silver food coloring spray, sprinkle with glitter; let dry 5 minutes. Scoop ice cream into cones and decorate with edible glitter and sprinkles.
