We can’t get enough of avocados. They’re delicious in smoothies, salads and pretty much every sandwich ever. And they’re particularly ~exceptional~ when added to your breakfast routine. Avocado toast is a classic and yet, an easy way to feel fancy AF in the morning with a healthy and satisfying meal.
So next time you’re craving breakfast, instead of reaching for that boring bowl of cereal, go big with your avocado toast. Don’t forget to Instagram it before you eat it, otherwise, did it even happen?
Fancy AF Avocado Toast
1/8 tsp cayenne
juice from 1/4 lime
1 tbsp chopped cilantro (plus more for garnish)
1 slice whole wheat bread (toasted or not, your preference)
1 hard boiled egg (sliced)
1 tsp sesame seeds
1 tsp chia seeds
1 tbsp feta
salt and pepper to taste
Add avocado, cayenne, lime, cilantro, salt and pepper to a bowl and mash with a fork until combined.
Spread mashed avocado onto toast and then add egg, and sprinkle seeds and feta across the top. Add cilantro for garnish and extra lime juice if desired.
