Episode 68: Lewis Knudsen ‘At Last' (Etta James)

Lewis Knudsen enjoys learning covers, songwriting, recording, and playing in a band in the Quad City, Illinois/Iowa area.  He thinks of music as a language which is able to communicate in ways no other language can. What results is a simultaneous process of speaking, and learning to speak ‘music’. Lewis’ greatest influences are 50’s – 70’s pop, jazz, soul, folk, and rock. You can listen to his original music here.

As part of our super fun Video Chat Karaoke series, we’d love to see our wonderful readers (that means you!) show us your stuff by sending in clips of you singing along to your favourite tunes.

Here’s Lewis working it to the Etta James track ‘At Last’ – we think he does a great job!

This guy is one of my favourite people in the world. He makes strong coffee and great music. To top it all off, he’s one of the humblest men I’ve ever met. Yep, that Lewis is one classy guy. Another great song Lewis, keep it up!

I am not sure there is a smoother voice alive. Always upbeat even when singing blues. As already described, He is humble, and writes amazing music of his own. Fantastic. Thanks for sharing.
