It was a thrill to direct “Mouseketeer” for Ellen and Ripley! Ellen and I had so much fun collaborating on the concept of the piece. I’m a child star fanatic so I can only imagine how I would have behaved had I been in Ellen’s shoes on this date. It doesn’t hurt that our actor, John Lavelle, is a total babe. But what I really love about this episode is that unlike many of the others, Ellen has only herself (and Walt Disney) to blame for how things turn out.
