PollsIt's Almost Girl Scout Cookie TimeHelloGiggles Team

It’s nearly that special time of year again – the Girl Scout annual cookie sale is upon us.  To celebrate the organisation’s 100th anniversary, they have unveiled a new cookie flavour – Savannah Smiles.

That got me thinking about my favourite Girl Scout cookie flavours…but I soon realised I couldn’t pick because I love them ALL!  How about you? What’s your flavour?  Is there a variety no longer sold that you miss?  Tell us in the comments section below.

Oh that was a tough one cause Thin Mints, Tagalongs, and Lemonades are all my favorites.

Much like television shows, every single Girl Scout cookie I love gets discontinued. RIP Upside Down Oatmeals and Lemon Pastry Creams. I have high hopes for these Savannah Smiles…don’t let me down, Girl Scouts of America!

I love Thanks-A-Lots!!! The half chocolate/half cookie deliciousness with a thank you printed on each one in a different language! They’re delicious & educational :D

Diehard Tag-A-Long fan for life. PB and chocolate will always be a beautiful combo.

I love all of them, but I want to give a shoutout to the less popular flavors. I love Thank U Berry Much (despite the embarrassing name), as it has cranberries and white chocolate chips. I always purchase the lemon-flavored cookies, think they’ve rotated through a few styles over the years.

I miss the original thin mints. They had a thin white layer of mint in them.

Totally agree! Thin mint silky goodness. When I was a girl scout, they were hottest items to sell!

In Australia we only have two types, plain, which i think might be like trefoils, and a half chocolate covered version, i think we might have also had the animal version of shortbread one year too!

I’d like to know why no one is talking about the name of this new cookie?! Savannah Smiles was one of my favorite movies as a little girl.

My favorite was the lemon coolers a few years back. They discontinued them but you can find something really similar at Walmart.

I can’t resist buying from anyone who asks. Girl Scouts is such a great organization and I still remember the wonderful trips that cookie money went towards.

Also..this picture is really old. They discontinued at least two of those cookies. The chocolate chip ones were the only no-sugar cookies and got a lot of diabetics buying. I guess it wasn’t enough though since they took them away the next year.
I think I know too much about Girl Scout Cookies..That’s what 13 years of selling them does to you.

Animal Treasures! They were Shortbread with animal prints on them, and half-dipped in chocolate. Kids loved them and so did parents because they could easily freeze and didn’t contain as much sugar as the others. They were in the top five of sales, right after Thin Mints, Caramel Delights, and Shortbread. I still don’t know why they discontinued them, but when they did my troop lost a lot of profits. There hasn’t been another cookie directed to children the same way that one was.

Wish I could pick more than one cause I love Samoas, but Thin Mints and Tagalongs are good too!
