We’re officially in Fall and I’m so excited about it because I’m naturally cold and love wearing cardigans. It was socially unacceptable to wear cardigans in the summer even though I was more comfortable that way, but now I’m a normal human being! Another thing I love is having a very simple wardrobe. I like shirts with no writing, sweaters with no designs, and nothing on the butt of jeans. Because I’m so picky, I usually shop at American Apparel or H&M. The only bad thing about those stores is that one is overpriced and the other doesn’t have an online store up and running for the U.S. Ridiculous, right?
A few months ago, a friend of mine traveled to New York and told me about the Japanese clothing store UNIQLO and I was immediately intrigued because of their simple cuts and prints and very reasonable prices. I recently traveled to Tokyo, not to go shopping, but I stepped into a UNIQLO and was in love. Great materials, great prices, great colors. This was my dream come true! I bought a black cardigan right away since I had been searching for one for ages and it fits perfectly and hasn’t faded. I have been living in it since I got it, I swear!
This month, UNIQLO will be opening a flagship store in San Francisco and I’m ridiculously excited because now I’ll be in the same state as the store, but they’re also opening up their online store for the U.S.! If you sign up now, they’ll give you a heads up when the online store goes up, so I suggest you do that NOW. And if you’re lucky enough to live in the New York/Jersey or San Francisco area, raid the store because trust me, they’re worth it! Also, to my fellow Angelinos, we’re getting a UNIQLO some time next year, so hope and pray with me it’s sooner rather than later!

Jealous! I’m counting down the days until the unveil the online store!
uniqlo is the best! I have beautiful shirts I bought on sale 4 years ago, still look just as wonderful and crisp today!
