ITEM OF THE DAY Item Of The Day: Turducken Andrea Greb

It’s that time of year again.  The Starbucks cups are red, candy canes are in stores and soon enough, people will be playing Christmas carols earlier than I’d like.  Which means it’s time to start thinking about what you might serve as a main course at your big holiday dinner.

You’ve probably heard about turducken.  You’re probably curious (unless you’re vegetarian, in which case you’re probably grossed out).  You want to know more, but you don’t want to go through the trouble of deboning a turkey, chicken and duck and going through the process of stuffing them all together.  Fortunately, there is a solution to your problem:  Herbert’s Specialty Meats Turducken.   You just pick your size and stuffing variety (I recommend the andouille cornbread), and have a delicious combination of birds shipped right to your door.  All you have to do is defrost and cook.  It is the perfect way to astound and impress your dinner guests this holiday season.

  1. I’ll just give my vegetarian opinion: Isnt it enough to eat ONE animal? Why the heck would anyone need to eat 3 animals for one supper????
