Today’s item of the day is an awesome website called The Tappan Collective. This website, which is an online platform dedicated to help you discover and collect original artwork from talented and emerging artists, was created by two Los Angeles natives, Chelsea Neman and Jordan Klein. The two met at the University of Michigan where Chelsea studied art and Jordan studied art history. After graduating, Chelsea and Jordan saw that their fellow graduating art students works were not being recognized or appreciated. Therefore, Chelsea and Jordan created the perfect venue with their website.

And I, for one am so glad they did! My room has been looking pretty boring for a while now. My whole home, in fact, could use some more artwork. But it can be challenging to find a piece of art that not only speaks to you but fits your price range as well. After checking out the Tappan Collective, however, and seeing some gorgeous and original artwork, all at affordable prices, I don’t’ think this will be a problem anymore. The only problem for me will be choosing my favorite. Chelsea and Jordan explore local art scenes all over the world. Therefore, you won’t have any issues finding a piece suited to your tastes.
