I love words. I really do. They’re fun to say. They’re fun to read. They’re fun to play with.
As you can imagine, the games I excel at and have the most fun with are almost always word-based. Crossword puzzles, Boggle, word searches and more, but above all else, is Scrabble.
I’ve played it on rainy days at the beach with my siblings. I’ve played it on Facebook back before the intellectual property suits that resulted in name changes and slight quirks to the rules while bored to tears during quiet times at work. Now I play it obsessively on my phone and iPad, challenging pretty much anyone who will take me on.
Now? I’m going to play it on my fridge. My roommates will rue the day I ordered this magnet set. They are going to hate it. But their vocabularies are going to improve!
And mine will probably pick up some new vulgar words. That’s the best defense from my closest friends. It’s not whether they try to beat me or not. They consider it a feat if they can get me to groan or grimace at their word choices.
They’re much like siblings in that way.
You can order the scrabble magnets here.
