ITEM OF THE DAYItem of the Day: Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm StainKerry Winfrey

When I first saw Revlon’s Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain, I knew I had to have it because

A) it looks like a crayon and
B) it looks like a crayon.

Since I put on makeup with all the finesse of an impatient toddler, a lipstick that resembles the preferred writing instrument of a 3 year old is perfect for me. Just Bitten is perfect for people who don’t normally like lipstick–it goes on like chapstick, but it looks like lipstick. The best part? The color stays on your lips.

Judging by the name, this stain is supposed to remain on your lips after a kiss, but it also stands up to a lot of other everyday activities, like drinking a glass of wine and eating some pierogi. Those were all the things I did just so I could test this lip stain’s staying power. Listen, I know how to make sacrifices for the sake of science. My favorite shade is Lovesick, which is the perfect not-too-hot pink.

You can buy one for yourself at just about any drugstore, or order one from Revlon.

  1. You should try “Kat Von D Everlasting Love Liquid Lipstick” I have always battled with lipsticks since they seem to not las longer on my lips more than 1 hour, I did have my doubts about Kat Von D’s one (since it’s liquid, and that’s just worse for me) but I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, I can eat, drink & kiss anything I want and it remains :)

  2. I have collected basically every color of these. They feel nice going on, but I don’t think the color lasts as long as they suggest. I end up with an outline of color, which stays stained sometimes overnight!
