In case you hadn’t noticed, I love TV. I especially love Neighbours – it’s the ultimate escapism in a lighthearted way that no other soap can rival. Sometimes I worry that they will stop making it – but then fantasise that perhaps Channel 5 will start showing it again from the start! How cool would that be? Revisiting all those amazing moments from the last two decades… Alan Dale’s first on-screen heart attack! Russell Crowe’s appearance! Paul Robinson without a limp!
Obviously, I don’t actually want Neighbours to end. In the meantime, I can go down nostalgia road with Neighbours – the Iconic Episodes, a DVD set available from Amazon. They even have Kylie and Jason on the cover.
If you were Australian, you’d hate that show. And Home and Away. They’re both so terrible and I’m worried they wont end :L
I would almost buy that… I used to watch Neighbours right after school, before Philip Schofield would come on the telly in the broom cupboard with Gordon the Gopher.
Alas, I live in Texas now and the DVD wouldn’t even play here… oh well… life goes on, I suppose.
(Wow, how strange was my life as a child of the early 90′s? Someone reading that paragraph would wonder what kind of shows they were putting on for us kids in the UK…)
