Let’s be honest, I don’t have time to watch a ton of television that requires me to sit down and stare at a square box for up to a half hour at a time. Thank god I live in the age of YouTube and webTV, right?

Husbands: The Series had been on my radar for a while as I’d listened to an interview with the cast and writers on the Nerdist Writers Panel podcast, and I had generally seen it floating around Twitter for a while since I follow the executive producer, Jane Espenson.

Then I went to San Diego Comic Con and got to see their panel in person. Creators Brad “Cheeks” Bell and Jane Espenson were joined by co-star Sean Hemeon and director Jeff Greenstein for the panel, and though their other co-star Alessandra Torresani couldn’t join them, she was there in spirit if the laughter and teasing that flew through the panel was any indication. Now I cannot wait for season 2 to start, and I spent all my wifi-accessible time on my flight back to the east coast catching up on season one.

To give you a little taste, here’s the official teaser:

“Waking up married after a drunken Vegas weekend used to be an adventure reserved for one man and one woman. But thanks to a new law, athlete Brady Kelly and actor Cheeks find themselves unexpectedly and legally wed. Unwilling to undermine the hard-fought battle with a public quicky divorce, these two decide to make a go of it. They were doing okay when they were dating. But how will it work out, now that they are HUSBANDS?”

If you’re not watching this, you should start. It was funded by fans through Kickstarter and boasts some incredible talent in the main cast, the producers and the guests. You’re bound to find something you love! I mean really, how could you not when this is the promotional image for season two?
