ITEM OF THE DAY Item of the Day
Julia Gazdag

I don’t know about you, but I never stopped playing with legos. I’m sure there’s some study out there somewhere about how it bolsters creativity or something. It’s just relaxing and fun, the same way it was when I finally reached the age where I could be trusted not to swallow the tiny pieces.

The bucket is awesome because it’s a bunch of random pieces and you can build whatever you want with them. It’s not a set, or a giant vehicle, or a castle (which, can we reminisce for a moment about lego castles pre-Harry Potter?), so there are no directions, you just use your brain. And who doesn’t love colors, right?

  1. I love lego, I use to play with it all the time as a kid and I was really crazy about horses at the time so I had this horse stable lego set. I am kinda sad I got rid of it :(

  2. When my son moved out, he took his Legos, but left me the mega set (1000+ pieces) of the Millennium Falcon. One of these days I need to get it down off the shelf and see how long it takes me. Something for my (Lego) bucket list.

  3. I love playing with my niece and nephew, as it’s my only chance to play with Lego. Unless you count the little Hello Kitty Mega Bloks set I have…
