It’s crazy, but I actually don’t own a microwave. I’ve owned them in the past but somehow my last one didn’t make it in the move and my roommate and I have just been living without one for the past year.
It’s actually pretty nice to bake all of my own foods or cook them up in the skillet (or even better, eat ‘em raw) but I’ve been thinking it might be time to join the rest of the world and zap cancer into my Stouffer’s lasagna like everyone else in America.
If I’m gonna commit to one of these things, you know it’s gotta be cute. I’m going with this HelloKitty version I found on the Target website, I think.

I lived without a microwave for nearly a year and didn’t miss it too much. When I started dating my new fella though, he couldn’t handle having to wait 20 min to reheat leftovers in the oven so now a microwave is on my shopping list. I love this Hello Kitty one, but the uber-girliness just might send the boy packing. TOO BAD, I LOVE IT!
it should have ‘cupcake’, ‘s’mores’, ‘ramen’, and perhaps a ‘tea’ setting. that would be cuter (if possible.)
I already have a microwave, and my kitchen theme is blue and white… but I am obsessed with pink and I may have to redecorate my kitchen in order to make this microwave work. All I can think right now is, “Piiiinnnkkk……”
