ITEM OF THE DAY Item of the Day
Jenna Buckle

Sure, napkins come in handy when you need to wipe pizza sauce off your face or when you need a makeshift coaster for a glass of lemonade, but we all know that napkins were really invented for when you have a brain blast but can’t seem to find a piece of paper lying around.  Just ask J.K. Rowling, who happened to launch a multi-billion dollar franchise by scribbling her first ideas for Harry Potter on a napkin.  There is a certain mystique surrounding these flimsy white rectangles of wood pulp – why is it that our best ideas are the ones that were jotted down on cocktail napkins?

This spiral-bound Napkin Notebook will serve you well when those unexpected bouts of brilliance hit.  Considerably more light-weight and compact than a standard notebook, it can be comfortably stashed in your pocket and then withdrawn when you suddenly concoct the world’s greatest haiku.  Maybe you’re a Tim Burton in-the-making who requires a 24/7 medium for sketching characters, or maybe you’re a songwriter who receives startling epiphanies, but only when you’re out and about.  I just don’t know.  All I do know is that I want you to be prepared when you think up the next Harry Potter.

You can buy a Napkin Notebook from AnyPromo.com.

  1. Writing on a napkin is like writing on a cloud!

  2. this looks like an ikea product

  3. This also reminds me of a great movie called Housesitter, starring the Steve Martin and the Goldie Hawn. Seriously, this movie wouldn’t have come to fruition without the napkin scribbles, or in this case napkin blueprint.

  4. I just left forever 21 and they have some awesome jewelry right now. I kept thinking they’d make great items for item of the day. Especially the “vintage” inspired rings. Go look!

  5. how about for those of us who’s inspiration strikes in the shower? i know shower curtains you can write on or pens to write on your shower wall with…hhmmmm gotta think about this one now.

  6. Plus, if something spills in your purse it’ll soak it up (hopefully before you’ve written your epiphany). I’m not saying I spill things in my purse, but it could happen (I do spill things in my purse.)

  7. that is amazing
