ITEM OF THE DAY Item of the Day: Folding Wayfarer Sunglasses

I am a sunglasses junkie. Seriously. Three years ago my New Years resolution was “no new sunglasses” and I’m pretty sure I broke it after one month. I have one pair of sunglasses that I think I might love the most, and the only reason I know that is because when they were stolen from me (along with my iPhone, and at a Bloomingdales, no less!) I loved them so much I was more than happy to fork over the cash to buy the exact same pair all over again.

The best thing about these specific Wayfarers, besides being the perfect Wayfarer shape, is that you can’t even tell they fold up. These are like the transformers of sunglasses!     I had a pair of folding Penguins. I loved the look of the glasses, I miss them. Awhile back the lens fell out and wouldnt go back in. But the folding thing got old quick. Specially when you are trying to put them on one handed and one side won’t
    stay unfolded.

  4. These are amazing! My mom’s had a pair of these since the 80s… or for a long time anyway, and they’re still in the best condition!
