ITEM OF THE DAY Item Of The Day

You guys, was there anything better than Silly Putty? It was the perfect texture: half gross, half Play Doh goodness. My brother and I would play with these until they lost all their tact. You could build things with them, stick it to stuff or just hold it in your hands. Such a low maintenance toy!

  1. I got addicted to Silly Putty (particularly the glitter variety) in January and it sent my carpal tunnel syndrome into a frenzy. If you have problems with your hands – don’t play with it! It makes things worse… but it’s almost worth the surgery just to get to pop Silly Putty bubbles again.

  2. Um, I may or may not carry an egg of this delightful substance in my purse so I can play with it when I’m at work and/or working at the computer.

  3. I used to LOVE Silly Putty when I was kid! I remember holding it in my hands, feeling how slimy it was and thinking this stuff is really gross. My brother and I would stick it on the windows in the car during road trips. Ahh what a marvelous toy

  4. I miss the “old” formula in the putty. Now it isn’t as fun, because it doesn’t remove newsprint like it used to. So now it is mostly play dough in a cute egg. With that said – my ladybugs LOVE IT! :)

  5. Almost as fun as the LIGHT UP KINETIC WHEEL,CLASSIC RETRO MAGNETIC TOY> I have one of these at home and play with it for hours.
