I’m not usually an advocate of purchasing pre-made desserts. Nine times out of ten, I would just point you to a recipe and tell you to make it yourself, because dessert is best when it’s from scratch, fresh and preservative free. However, what I’m about to recommend, I don’t have a recipe for (okay, I lied, I just found one but I haven’t made it, so I can’t vouch for it). Regardless, there are some things that I think are unique enough to be worth buying (other desserts I believe in buying and not making include macarons and souffle, and anything else that involves doing something with egg whites). Spoonfudge does not involve egg whites, but I still believe it is a worthwhile purchase.
We’ve all had those moments that involve us, the couch, a movie, and a carton of ice cream or a jar of nutella. If you’re in search of a new food companion for that equation, let me introduce you to Spoonfudge. It is delicious fudge in a jar. Unlike ice cream or nutella, it is actually designed to be eaten from the container, so much so that it comes with its own tiny spoon! It comes in many flavors. It is also alarmingly delicious. It is the kind of dessert you probably should share to avoid sugar shock, but you really won’t want to. Seriously, if you are looking for an extreme willpower challenge, order some of this and try not to finish the entire jar in one sitting. I dare you.

this is amazing. you’ve made my day.
Do they sell this in stores or must I order offline and have that dreadful waiting period?
