Everyone knows the best part of children’s cereals are the mini marshmallows. There’s something about that dry, crumbly, sugary-sweetness that makes them so much more interesting and delicious than regular marshmallows. I’m sure I’m not the only person among us who has reached into a box of Lucky Charms just to pick out the hearts, stars and clovers. Back when I lived in Iowa, there was a Mennonite grocery store that sold the marshmallows on their own in big plastic bags, but I’ve never found them since. UNTIL NOW! A company called Magician’s Cereal Marshmallows (best name ever?) sells little packets of just-the-marshmallows. Eat them plain, add them to your fancy grown-up cereals, sprinkle them over ice cream, make a unique trail mix, the sky’s the limit!
Available at Magician’s Marshmallows.
