My apartment is a strange combination of sophisticated (ikat blankets, lots and lots of useless throw pillows) and utterly childlike (ice cream cone lamp, unicorn pillow pet). My guess is that the latest addition – this gigantic big-enough-to-sit-on teddy bear – falls into the latter category. But who cares, this thing freaking rules. I can sleep with it, watch TV on it, scare my dog with it, and impress any little kids who happen to stop by, possibly all at the same time. Plus, unlike the fancy shmancy ones I wanted when I was little, this one is (relatively) affordable. And it makes me smile every time I look at him. So, priceless.

I have this same teddy for my baby girl, just in a different color. I take pictures with her and the bear once a month to document her growth.

My husband bought our little boy one of these on May 12th. He was the envy of every small child in Costco. We took a picture just like this with our 7 week old son between his legs. We both laughed when we saw this was the item of the day! It’s a wonderful bear!

I had a giant teddy like that. I used to hold all my really cool costume jewelry and hats, but then one day my 4-year old cousin came over and fell in love with it so I gave to her. She would get better use out of it. I think she still has it…

I had a giant teddy…must have been about 5 1/2′ tall! I loved it so much, broke my heart to have to get rid of it lol
