I don’t know about you, but my February face could use a little moisture. Enter Josie Maran Argan Oil, aka my favorite beauty product I’ve purchased in the last five years. Argan oil, sometimes called Moroccan oil, is traditionally used by the Moroccan people for both cooking and cosmetics. I’ve never cooked with it (hmmm, I smell a recipe hunt!) but I know it works wonders for my skin.

Created by former model Josie Maran, this particular brand of argan oil has so many uses. I use it most often to moisturize my face; I have oily skin, and this stuff doesn’t make my face greasy AT ALL. In fact, it brings my face that perfect dewy glow, especially if I use it before bed. Argan oil + a good night’s sleep= movie star skin. I’ve also used it on my gnarly winter cuticles and my dry winter lips, on my split ends and on a scar I have on my elbow. This stuff is magic, you guys.

The oil is lightweight and fragrance-free. Josie Maran Argan Oil is also 100% organic and it comes in a little glass bottle that you can toss into your recycling bin when you’ve gotten to the last drop of the oily goodness. In addition, the oil is produced by female-run, environmentally-conscious cooperatives in Morocco, so your purchase supports both people and the earth. Argan Oil comes in several different sizes (and prices), too. Seriously, go get some of this stuff. Your February face will love you for it.

  1. I found a great list of beauty face products from the glue gun girl but I noticed that she’s missing a good moisturizer…I’ll have to recommend this one & try it out for myself. I <3 HelloGiggles item of the day! http://www.skinnyscoop.com/list/thegluegungirl/my-face

  2. I’ve been using this for about 2 months, and I LOVE it! I have really acne prone skin and it doesn’t irritate that at all, plus it makes my skin smooth and glowy. Definitely worth the investment.

  3. You guys keep stealing my beauty secrets! But every should really try this. It’s one of those oils that magically balances your skin.

  4. My skin is parched in winter, and I’ve tried so many creams/lotions trying to fix it. Even tried switching to more moisturizing foundations including Josie Maran’s Tinted Moisturizer, it looked great but then melted off my face by the end of the day :(

This is definitely on my to-try list though!
