Milk and Cookies and an Instant Movie Instant Movie: Miracle on 34th Street (1947) Myrna Valadez

It’s time to overload on holiday movies! YES! I love having time off during Christmas time because that means I can sit around in my bulky sweaters and watch all my favorite Christmas movies, one of which is the original 1947 version of Miracle on 34th Street! As we grow older, we tend become more cynical and every year, my faith in Santa Clause is restored every time I watch this movie! Of all the Christmas movies to choose from, Miracle on 34th Street should be at the top of your list because:

  1. It’s a classic and has withstood the test of time!
  2. It stars Maureen O’Hara, one of my favorite actresses…mostly because she was the mom in the original Parent Trap!
  3. Considered one of the best films form 1947, it was proven when it won a few Academy Awards.
  4. It’s the perfect Christmas movie for the entire family!
  5. Most importantly, sometimes it’s okay to believe in the unbelievable.
Grab the gingerbread cookies and pour yourself a tall glass of eggnog and make this Christmas an extra special one by spending it with your entire family. The perfect family flick of the Holiday Season!
