Whenever I help people decorate their places, the first thing I recommend is: choose your color palette! People usually freeze up at this suggestion but I always sooth their decorating hyperventilating by telling them, ‘I swear, it’s easy!’ All you have to do is get inspired by a particular color, thing, room, photo, etc. and then go from there…after all, you’re the one enjoying the room, so it should be motivated by something that tickles your fancy!
To show you just how easy it is, I took some color palette inspiration photos at a west LA Japanese Market which, I recently visited in search of mushrooms and false eyelashes…you know, the stuff that makes the world go ’round.
