“Probably the worst thing you can do to a person is leave them a voicemail.” –@RobDelaney

Disagree!!! I won’t call you back unless you leave a voicemail! (To be fair, I clearly say that in my voicemail greeting.)

My Gramma is the only one who leaves me a voicemail, she keeps it old school. Otherwise she’ll try to send a “tex-mex.”

And THAT’s why I have yet to set up my voice mail after getting my new phone… If it’s one of my friends, they’ll text me. If its not one of my friends, I probably don’t want to deal with it… which is why I didn’t pick up in the first place…

i don’t mind voicemails….sometimes. What i don’t like is if for some reason I’m not answering, some people, for some strange reason, thinks its a good idea to leave a voice every time they call just to tell me to answer in a voicemail 100 times.

I actually get anxiety when I see that I have a voicemail! If I’ve ever spoken to you before (excluding credit or debt collection agencies!) then I have your number saved. I’ll call you right back! Odds are I’m going to call you back after your voicemail regardless. And no matter what, you’ll still ask me “Did you get my voicemail” and then you’ll reiterate the entire thing to me again! If you want a fast answer, text me. If not, I’ll call you back. If you leave a message, it won’t get listened to. It will just build up until I delete them all. If you’re a debt collector, I didn’t want to talk to you anyway!

(P.S. If you are my doctor…oops)
