Apocalypstick's ApocaLISTHuman Barbie Shares Her Views on Life, World is… SurprisedAlmie Rose

Valeria Lukya, AKA the Human Barbie, AKA Amatue, her self-given name, may be happy with her extreme physical transformation (see before and after pics below) — and we’re happy if she’s happy! — but lately she’s been making headlines not for her looks, but for her words.

Though she considers herself a teacher of spirituality (as she told The Daily Beast, “For the last four years, I have been teaching seminars on meditation and out-of-body travel”), in a recent GQ interview she made some curious statements that don’t necessarily jive with a spiritual view. We rounded up Human Barbie’s 7 wildest pronouncements (from the GQ interview and others):

7. On how she got her looks: “…it is hard work for many years and good genes.” (International Business Times)

6. “I can now travel around the entire world, to the past and to the future.” (Daily Beast)

5. “The very idea of having children brings out this deep revulsion in me. I’d rather die from torture, because the worst thing in the world is to have a family lifestyle.” (GQ)

4. “I’m against feminism.” (GQ)

3. On why the ideals of beauty have changed: “That’s because of the race-mixing.” (GQ)

2. “Ethnicities are mixing now, so there’s degeneration, and it didn’t used to be like that. Remember how many beautiful women there were in the 1950s and 1960s, without any surgery? And now, thanks to degeneration, we have this.” (GQ)

1. “In recent weeks I have not been hungry at all; I’m hoping it’s the final stage before I can subsist on air and light alone.” (International Business Times).

What do YOU think of Valeria Lukya, “The Human Barbie”? Just in case you were wondering, if you’re not a fan, she told VICE in her documentary that she doesn’t care. Of her haters, she simply says, “I wish you all the best, be happy.” That’s one statement we can all get behind.

People had plastic surgery in the 50′s and 60′s, most were too polite to speculate.

    Miss Rose,

I loved how you ended the ‘interesting’ article with a lovely quote!

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=534290569 Kaitlin Bodiroga

I’d like to imagine that this whole “out of body travel” thing she makes claims to means that human barbie is spying on people all over the world while invisible. I would also like to think that is not the case because I wouldn’t want her creeping around my house invisible. But it’s funny to think about.

    1. When did Barbies ribs look like that. Gross.
    2. Get over yourself you racist prick. If anything mixing races has a ‘beneficial’ effect on most things physically including beauty! It opens up the gene pool!

Guys, I know her looks and surgeries and such are a big deal, but shouldn’t we be discussing those racists opinios for a bit? they are worrying too

It’s funny how she doesn’t care about her haters but she is the BIGGEST hater of all… Degeneration…. Shut up Barbie you don’t like feminists but your racist? The only thing that I like about this person is the empty look in her eyes. It matches her soul. The ideals about beauty have changed not because of race mixing but because fake people like her put a imaginary thought of what beauty is supposed to look like. HELLO! Beauty comes from the inside and imperfections make us different for a reason. That’s beauty…. Get it straight

This article and the comments being left are very critical and mean, its her choice, shes doing no harm, get on with your own lives and stop hating anything different! The world would be boring if we were all the same.

      Hi there,

I wrote this article and I’m surprised you see it as mean. My goal was to present her using her own photos and her own words, without hating, and leave it up for the readers to decide. I think I did that, and I’m curious what you think is mean about it.

      Thanks for reading,

You are perfectly right, this article is objective reporting, not at all critical or mean. The only subjective remarks a.k.a. opinion/critique is that you are happy she is happy. If people find any information negative, it is not possible that it could be your fault, as this is not the original source of the information, and in fact the reason behind the choice of what to present was clearly stated to be a collection of statements that have received the most note in other media sources. Accusing you is rather more along the lines of something worthy of a “you said it not me” mentality reply. You did great at keeping your remarks positive and the information objective. Interesting article. Good job!

i’m sorry, this is a real human being? why??

What disturbs me most is that vacant ‘barbie’ look she does so perfectly… She’s trying soooo hard to not be human!

    I’m seriously traumatized… it’s like a horror movie.

    Haha she’s a loonatic :’)

Just plain weird. She is too thin, and I think that it is harmful to your body.

I checked the date for an April Fools. No such luck. Not even a better love story than Twilight.

she had anorexia I do not understand why she’s famous! I mean there has to be some girl thinking that shes her idol and that girl might learn and starve her self thinking that she will probably turn out to look like her

I hope that she realises that on order to subsist on light she would have to start photosynthesising… And be green.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1712680200 Sara Abdel Rahim

hahahahahaha you made my day! I swear, nowadays everyone is making their own ideologies and the problem is they are sharing it with the world! I’m actually with everyone speaking up and sharing opinions but sometimes they have got to think before they speak!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=503972225 Savannah Thomas

Just like the Barbie doll, she has no brain.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1419713384 Melanie Borges

The racial stuff is the worst… as a mix of african, native brazilian, italian and portuguese descendence, I can say the more mixed, the better… actually, there is no one “pure” in the world, and that makes people more and more beautiful.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=570835955 Brooke Clark

    Umm, she’s had plastic surgery?
