Human Barbie Shares Her Views on Life, World is… Surprised

Valeria Lukya, AKA the Human Barbie, AKA Amatue, her self-given name, may be happy with her extreme physical transformation (see before and after pics below) — and we’re happy if she’s happy! — but lately she’s been making headlines not for her looks, but for her words.

Though she considers herself a teacher of spirituality (as she told The Daily Beast, “For the last four years, I have been teaching seminars on meditation and out-of-body travel”), in a recent GQ interview she made some curious statements that don’t necessarily jive with a spiritual view. We rounded up Human Barbie’s 7 wildest pronouncements (from the GQ interview and others):

7. On how she got her looks: “…it is hard work for many years and good genes.” (International Business Times)

6. “I can now travel around the entire world, to the past and to the future.” (Daily Beast)

5. “The very idea of having children brings out this deep revulsion in me. I’d rather die from torture, because the worst thing in the world is to have a family lifestyle.” (GQ)

4. “I’m against feminism.” (GQ)

3. On why the ideals of beauty have changed: “That’s because of the race-mixing.” (GQ)

2. “Ethnicities are mixing now, so there’s degeneration, and it didn’t used to be like that. Remember how many beautiful women there were in the 1950s and 1960s, without any surgery? And now, thanks to degeneration, we have this.” (GQ)

1. “In recent weeks I have not been hungry at all; I’m hoping it’s the final stage before I can subsist on air and light alone.” (International Business Times).

What do YOU think of Valeria Lukya, “The Human Barbie”? Just in case you were wondering, if you’re not a fan, she told VICE in her documentary that she doesn’t care. Of her haters, she simply says, “I wish you all the best, be happy.” That’s one statement we can all get behind.

She is out of her mind! This makes me so sad… And the funny thing abut it is that she contradicts herself. Ugh.

nah, she’s a troll :))) if i would be famous i’d probably say ridiculous, stupid stuff with a full on serious face to troll people. And if she believes what she’s saying don’t worry about her, if we’re lucky, she’ll travel to another dimension or she’ll disintegrate :))

She’s also not a native English speaker I think we should keep that in mind.

yes…”degeneration” could easily be mistaken for…um…surely something else. /s

wow , next big headline about her ” Human Barbie’s heart stops!”. She needs to eat or be put in a mental hospital and forced to eat. She’s going to die.

Barbie’s boobs are not that big. They are more in line with her natural size.

Too true. If you actually look at a barbie they are oddly triangular. They don’t simply have big boobs, the entire upper torso chest area is strangely large.

However it is slightly more understandable when you look at the types of dresses women were wearing the most at the time when barbie was created. To get a plastic doll and little doll dresses without the same quality of fabric or sewing to fit the same way you kind of need to alter things a bit: there is no way to get a barbie to look like a human being as they are made of plastic and humans are much more intricate than that. At least though when dressed you can get something that looks like a doll or a tiny mannequin wearing the clothes that people liked, and having them fit/look proper back then. These dolls were made for children right? Likely they weren’t intended to be analyzed and measured while naked, or dressed in as revealing clothes as this woman is wearing, or really any clothes other than the ones in fashion during the decade when they were first designed. The problem is that the clothes and style change quickly, leaving the same body, and suddenly people are thinking this is the standard, when really it’s just something that holds up pretty old-fashioned a-line dresses well, with feet that fit into tiny pumps that were in style when the mold was made. A company with any success financially can’t change the base to adjust to societies changes because then none of the previously purchased clothing/add ons wouldn’t work with the old models. People need to realize that these are dolls, not human beings, no matter how close they may look. Of course, this girl is not the norm, this is an entirely different level, and probably not the best thing to consider a symbol of this problem with society. This is one, isolated incident and a radical one at that!

This is sadly very common for those who suffer with anorexia. My heart goes out to her.

    She’s ridiculous….

The picture under #6….is that a glass of air?

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=570835955 Brooke Clark

    Umm, she’s had plastic surgery?

The racial stuff is the worst… as a mix of african, native brazilian, italian and portuguese descendence, I can say the more mixed, the better… actually, there is no one “pure” in the world, and that makes people more and more beautiful.

    • Okay

Someone should beat the crap out of her

      • LittleBigFace

They already have. Some christian extremists.

    • Ciara-Jean Murphy

On top of that, humans have been mixing forever. She probably has never taken a history or human variation class. Where people trade and travel, there is mixing.

Just like the Barbie doll, she has no brain.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=746013759 Sasha Sirozh

I hope that she realises that on order to subsist on light she would have to start photosynthesising… And be green.

    • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1712680200 Sara Abdel Rahim

hahahahahaha you made my day! I swear, nowadays everyone is making their own ideologies and the problem is they are sharing it with the world! I’m actually with everyone speaking up and sharing opinions but sometimes they have got to think before they speak!!!!!!!!!!!!

    • Jan Pristušek

actually, what you obviously don’t know, is that she was referring to prana (pure life energy). Some people known as breatharians have been living for years only breathing air and light and prana as their energy. you can read alot more online.

    cray, cray.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=1712680200 Sara Abdel Rahim

she had anorexia I do not understand why she’s famous! I mean there has to be some girl thinking that shes her idol and that girl might learn and starve her self thinking that she will probably turn out to look like her

I checked the date for an April Fools. No such luck. Not even a better love story than Twilight.

Just plain weird. She is too thin, and I think that it is harmful to your body.

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=748779138 Hayley Clare Lightfoot

    Haha she’s a loonatic :’)

  • http://www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100002408674149 Ana Lugo

What disturbs me most is that vacant ‘barbie’ look she does so perfectly… She’s trying soooo hard to not be human!

    I’m seriously traumatized… it’s like a horror movie.
