How To Dress For A Wedding!

Dressing for a wedding can be super stressful and a big pain in the butt (there, I said it)! Whether it’s a black tie affair, a garden shindig or any other wacky wedding idea your friends and family come up with, there are simple guidelines you can follow to make sure you’re appropriately dressed. In my latest video for LookTV, I enlist fellow Giggler JC Coccoli to tackle this subject with some helpful information and lots of silliness. What’s your wedding story?

Thanks so much for posting this! I have a handful of weddings this summer (I’m at the age where my friends are just starting to get married). In particular, I was hoping you could go into more detail about what is and isn’t appropriate for a 7:00 evening wedding. Im attending one in a few weeks and don’t really know what to wear! Thanks for your help. :)

Glad you like it Laura! I would say just stay away from white (duh) :), black is always a good option for night weddings. Keep with “just above the knee” length and nothing shorter, and wear something you feel comfortable in. Oh and choose a “nicer” material that looks dressier…nothing too casual like cotton jersey. HAVE FUN at the weddings!

So glad you posted this! I have a wedding in Vegas to attend at Treasure Island. It’s a small wedding in the middle of the day. Reception to follow. Ideas on what I should wear?! I like the classy, just above the knee look, but is there any other look I should go for?

This video was posted just in time! I actually have an evening wedding to attend at a church and was a bit worried that my idea of going with a sweetheart neckline and knee-length dress wouldn’t be a great idea. CONFIDENCE HAS BEEN RESTORED.
