Some of the lovely readers on the forums requested a playlist to listen to when working on housework and I love this idea! Housework is just a small term that really means “the worst.”
Laundry is the worst. Swiffer-ing is the worst. Windex-ing anything the worst. (Can you tell that I’m not a huge fan of cleaning?) Honestly, I haven’t done laundry in a such a long time that I won’t even admit to you how long it’s been. I’m short on towels and socks but I have absolutley no motivation to finally take care of it. Why would I want to wash these clothes when I can browse Etsy, paint my nails, or do literally anything else.
I previously made a playlist on how to stay focused which I suppose is applicable to housework but I think the following songs are better for cleaning and laundry and such.

My favorite thing to do is dance around my room like a crazy person, usually when getting ready. What about a morning pick me up playlist for all of us night owls? I particularly like “Someday” by the strokes for this sort of situation.

Although I like the tracks so far, I just can’t see myself cleaning to them. Perhaps just a personality difference?
I would clean better to music that is ‘faster’ to get my blood pumping so I can ‘git r done’.
For example, I used The Matrix soundtrack my senior year of college to get my programming work done (I know that’s not the same as housework lol).
But you know, some Skrillex, Black Eyed Peas, David Guetta – stuff like that?
