I seem to find myself with a fair amount of See’s Candies this holiday season. I’m not complaining, I just don’t think I can eat all these by myself. So after just watching Elf and feeling like spreading holiday cheer (without singing), why not share my left over sweets this holiday season? Follow these simple DIY steps to create your own hidden chocolate pyramid box. It’s perfect for throwing in your purse so you can avoid all those “oh, but I didn’t get you anything” kind of situations. Happy holidays!
What you need:
- Tag board or some thick stock paper
- Wrapping paper
- Spray adhesive or glue
- Hole punch
- String/ribbon to tie pyramid shut
Spray tag board with adhesive and stick wrapping paper to board.
Construct a pattern for pyramid.
Make the center triangle as large as you would like your box to be.
Then use the same size and draw a triangle off each side of the center triangle.
Trace your pattern onto paper.
Cut out pattern.
Fold up the 3 sides around the center triangle.
Hole punch 3 holes at the top of these triangles.
Place in chocolate and lace through string.
Give away at will!
