Emma Stone hammed it up in a Korean skincare lip mask while prepping for the recent Golden Globe awards, and you can copy the star’s red carpet secret easily.
Emma’s makeup artist, Rachel Goodwin, shared a silly snapshot of the actress behind the scenes pre-awards show. The MUA tagged the pic “#koreanskincaresilliness” but she didn’t say which specific mask she used on her famous client. There are bunches of them out there and more by the day, both Korean brands and otherwise. Seems like the mask worked out for Emma — her lips looked luscious and she glowed as she collected awards for the film La La Land.
Stars, they’re just like us! They put weird stuff on their faces in the name of beauty and lolz.
Rachel seems pretty pleased with how her handiwork turned out.
Here are a few masks you can try at home for fun or before your own special event.
LANEIGE Lip Sleeping Mask, $23.95
Wake up and pucker up! (Brush your teeth first. Or don’t, we won’t judge.)
The Sephora lip mask’s price is right and it comes in Shea (protecting & repairing) or Rose (moisturizing & softening).
According to the product description, this patch “provides positive stimulus to lips and the gel type fomula gives even better performance to vitalize lips.” It’s possible something got lost in translation there, but it still sounds kinda amazing.
patchology FlashPatch lip gels, $50 for 24
Collagen, but without the painful injections.
Possibly the cutest packaging in the bunch!
Berrisom Oops! My lip patch, $2.10
Okay, this one’s pretty cute too. XOXO!
